FAQ
What Software do you use?
A: Most the software I use is open-source. Although I have been trained on programs like the Adobe suite, Autodesk, and others, at least at the time of this answer, I couldn't afford it. But the open source programs are:
-Krita - for my concept designs, digital painting, and storyboarding.
-GIMP - is the free alternative to Adobe Photoshop.
-For 2D animation, I use Plastic Animation Paper v.4.
-For 3D animation, I use Blender.
-For video editing, I use Blender's video editor or Lightworks.
-For audio work, I use Audacity.
-When I'm writing a script for a story, movie, commercial, comic, or whatever, I use Celtx.
What kind of tablet do you use?
A: Well, I'm not sure. I ordered it YEARS ago from Geeks.com, but they are no longer online or in the retail business. But, its not a Wacom for sure. Just a regular 8"x10" graphic tablet.
Who is my inspiration?
A: That is a very loaded question. I've learned, read, and watched pretty much every artist. But, if I have to give an detailed answer...and a short one, I would have to say:
-David Revoy
-Dylan Cole
-Whilce Portacio
-Feng Zhu
-Anne Garavaglia
-Scott Robertson
-Kirbi Fagan
-Alex Roman
